Psychosexual Medicine is a confidential service for anyone with sexual problems, irrespective of marital status or sexual orientation.
The service aims to provide a welcoming, caring environment in which you can work through your sexual difficulties with the aid of a specially trained Doctor.
Psychosexual therapy has been found to be very effective at helping a wide range of sexual problems including:
- Erectile failure
- Loss of interest in sex
- Premature ejaculation
- Orgasm problems
- Painful intercourse
- Delayed ejaculation
- Difficult or no penetration (vaginismus)
- Impaired arousal.
How do I access the service?
You will need to be referred to the Psychosexual Service from your GP.
Who works at the Clinic?
The Clinic is staffed by female Doctors who have received specialist training in Psychosexual Medicine. Both are Members of the Institute of Psychosexual Medicine and one has also received training in Gestalt Psychotherapy.
